Licensed 442A Industrial Electrician – Nights
Location: Burlington, ON
Industry: Food Manufacturing (Meat Processing)
Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay: $43.50/hour + $2.00 night premium
Key Responsibilities
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems up to 600V.
Diagnose and support MCCs, control wiring, PLCs, conveyors, motors, pumps, grinders, hydraulic systems, and high-speed packaging equipment.
Perform PM, PDM, corrective maintenance, and equipment installations.
Maintain electrical equipment in accordance with maintenance systems, GMP standards, and safety regulations.
Complete work orders, record labour/inventory in CMMS, and execute corrective actions.
Conduit and wiring installations as required.
Work safely in a fast-paced meat processing environment.
Requirements
Valid 442A Industrial Electrician License (Ontario).
Strong troubleshooting experience with switchgear, drives, instrumentation, and conveyors.
Food industry experience considered an asset.
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift up to 40 lbs.
Valid G driver’s license; experience operating mobile equipment (forklifts, aerial platforms).
Must provide own tools.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
